Hello my fellow Blue Devils!

Welcome to my project about Duke students dealing with the stress to fit in.

There’s no doubt that we as Duke students deal with much stress on a day-to-day basis.  We often experience stress in trying to finish a paper by deadline, preparing for an upcoming test, meeting the obligations of our extracurricular activities, and managing our personal relationships.  However, after meeting with various Duke University employees and a student RA, I have learned that Duke students mostly deal with stress stemming from the pressures to fit in peer social groups.  This project attempts to highlight this issue and raise awareness about how Duke students can utilize various strategies and on-campus resources to effectively manage stress.  The layout of this project can be described as follows: general statistical findings about college students dealing with stress, examples of how and why Duke students are stressed to fit in, general facts about stress and how it can be managed, and various on-campus resources that Duke students can use to de-stress.  Feel free to delve in.  I hope you enjoy!
